Secret Projects

“A secret is something you tell everybody not to tell anybody.”

This page is dedicated to the various projects\activities I am currently partaking in; things I am doing, which shall we say, are my attempt to Live Life to the Fullest.

Secret Project #111916: Story Of A Student

Since starting up school again, I haven’t been doing as much photography as I had been doing over this past summer, so I’ve been trying to think of different photography projects I could do to get back in the game. Story Of A Student is a photography series I will be starting soon. In a nutshell, I will be doing photo shoots with students from around campus. Each photo shoot will be unique to the student and take place in different locations.

The ultimate goal is to capture the personality of each student through a series of photos. The goal is to the tell the story of the student through photography.

Every photo tells a story, and photographers are the writers of those stories.

I will be posting the shots from the shoots as we go along.

Secret Project #081216: First Official Youtube Video

My summer internship at HBNC requires an Exit Project for the summer and for my Exit Project I have decided to make a video about bird banding. After thinking about it for a bit I have also decided that that video will be my first official video for my Youtube Channel. I’ve been struggling for a while to figure out what I wanted my Youtube Channel to be but now I know exactly what I want it to be: my Youtube Channel will be a teaching channel where I basically just teach whatever I find interesting. Anyway, that video will become live 2 weeks from now and I will make sure to let you all know when it is up (most likely that first video will be a post all on its own). Make sure to keep your eyes peeled for it.

Secret Project #052016: pHoto pHriday

This summer I have been accepted for a research position at the Huston-Brumbaugh Nature Center. I don’t know which specific projects I will be working on, but I do know that I will be outdoors a lot and cataloging different flora and fauna in the surrounding area. To take advantage of this opportunity, besides learning more about the environment, I thought this would be the perfect time to improve my photography skills since I’ll be in such a dynamic surrounding all summer. With that said, I would like to announce a new installment of Chronicles Of A Normal:

pHoto pHriday

(O.k. I know the name is really weird but I was trying to be clever and do Foto Friday, until I realized that everybody else in the world already does Foto Friday and being clever is no longer fun when everybody else is doing the same idea. So in an attempt to do my own thing, that’s what I’ve come up with. Any science-y people out there should appreciate the different font sizing)

Every Friday I will post a collection of photos that highlight some exciting things I got to do during the week. With any luck they will not look like I used a celery stick for my camera.
